We take the protection of personal data very seriously and want you to feel safe when visiting our website. We process personal data that is collected when you visit our website in accordance with the statutory provisions, in particular the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

Responsible in accordance with Art. 4(7) GDPR is the following:

What exactly are personal data?
Personal data are data about you as a person that make identification possible. These include for instance your name and first name, your address and e-mail address. Personal information may also include data from social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn and other similar service providers.
Basically, you do not have to disclose any personal data in order to visit our website. In some cases, we may need your name, address and other information to provide you with the information you request or to respond to your inquiry. In these cases, you give us your consent. We only store data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.

How are personal data processed?
At some points on our website, we offer you the possibility to contact us or make use of certain services. We store the personal data transmitted in this process only for the purpose for which it was provided to us, such as to process your inquiry or to answer any questions you may have. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
It may happen that content from third parties, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within our website. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as third-party providers) perceive the IP address of the user because without any IP address they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. We strive to merely use content whose provider uses the IP address for the sole purpose of delivering content. However, we do not have any influence on whether the third-party provider stores the IP address for statistical purposes, for example.

Which data are retrieved?
If the possibility for the input of personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, postal addresses) is given on the website, the input and disclosure of these data is explicitly voluntary on the part of the user. The use of all offered services is permitted – if and so far technically possible and reasonable – without specification of any personal data or by specification of anonymized data or an alias. However, by correctly entering data and even the optional data, you enable us to provide you with personal and individual support.

SSL encryption
In order to protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e. g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Is the confidentiality of e-mail traffic or contact forms guaranteed?
Should you wish to contact us with your own e-mail account, we would like to point out that the confidentiality of the information transmitted may not be guaranteed.
If the data are collected and processed via our contact form, these data are encrypted before transmission. You are welcome to send us confidential information by post only.

Are data logged during my visit?
Each time a user accesses a page from our website and each time a file is retrieved, access data about this process are stored in a log file on our server:

  • IP address
  • Page that the file was requested from
  • Date and time
  • Browser type and browser settings
  • Operating system
  • Page you visited
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found etc.)

From these data, statistics are generated which help us to further adapt our internet presence to your needs. A personal reference can only be derived if you register directly on our website or access our website from a personalized page. However, passing on of these data to third parties, also in excerpts, takes place in no case.

Are cookies used?
When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an internet server to your browser and stored on its hard drive. Only the internet protocol address is stored here - no personal data.
We use session cookies on our site. This offers you the advantage that you do not have to enter your data again and again when filling out forms. These data are not stored permanently. The cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser so that it notifies you as soon as cookies are sent.
If you have deactivated all cookies in your browser, a so-called session ID serves to identify your person during a continuous access to our website. No data is stored on your computer here either. The session ID is deleted after it has been accessed.
Of course, you have the sole right to decide whether and for what purposes we may use your data. Furthermore, you alone determine whether we may use your data for purposes of consulting, advertising and market research. Here, too, you can of course revoke your consent at any time. We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. We will therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as required by the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose has ceased to exist or these periods have expired, the corresponding data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

Will you pass on my data to third parties?
Personal data are used by us only for internal purposes in the course of the customer relationship. A passing on to third parties does not take place without your necessary consent. Personal data will only be collected and transmitted to government institutions and authorities entitled to receive such information within the framework of the relevant laws or if we are obliged to do so by court order. All employees and service companies have been obligated by us to secrecy and compliance with data protection regulations.

What security precautions have we taken?
We have taken technical and administrative security precautions to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All employees and service companies have been obligated by us to secrecy and compliance with data protection regulations.
Whenever we collect and process personal information, it is encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security precautions are subject to a continuous improvement process and our data privacy statements are constantly revised.

Might this Data Privacy Statement change in the future?

a. The data subject has given consent to the processing of his/her personal data for one or more specific purposes;

Integration of third-party services and content
Our offer sometimes includes contents, services and performances of other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps as well as graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user's browser, the transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") thus perceive the IP address of the respective user.
Even though we make every effort to use only third-party providers who need the IP address only to deliver content, we do not have any control over whether the IP address is stored or not. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among others. If we have knowledge that the IP address is stored, we point this out to our users.
